Amina Hassan

Amina Hassan

Amina Hassan (she/her) is from the Great Plains of Oklahoma. She studies Political Science, concentrating in urban politics and is pursuing certificates in Global Health and Energy Studies.


Outside of class, Amina serves as a Dwight Hall Urban Fellow with the Connecticut Department of Energy, works as a student worker for Restorative Practices, and researches at the intersection of the environment and health as a Community Mental Health Fellow.


Amina is a lover of books, film photography, sound baths, Thunder basketball, and, most of all, music, so feel free to recommend your favorite artists, songs, or anything in between. She can’t wait to welcome the Class of 2030 to the best residential college on campus!
