The Head of College is chief administrative officer and presiding faculty presence in Pierson College. Professor Crystal Feimster (Prof C) oversees the residential, social, cultural, and intellectual life of the college and works to foster a vibrant, inclusive community where students can thrive. She and her husband, Professor Daniel Botsman, the Associate Head of College, live in Leitner House at the center of Pierson. Throughout the year, they host College Teas, lectures, study breaks, dinners, and other events that bring students together with distinguished scholars, artists, public leaders, and alumni.
The Head of College’s Office is the administrative heart of Pierson. The office is staffed by Assistant Director of Operations Kirsten Dudley, Senior Administrative Assistant Taunya Williams, Service Assistant June Graves, and the Pierson Aides. Dean Tasha Hawthorne and her Senior Administrative Assistant, Carla Zaratzian, are also located in the office, making it the central resource for student life in the college.
